Following this stage, the top four teams emerging from the group matches will secure their spots in the semifinals, adding an extra layer of excitement to this highly anticipated cricket event.

In addition to the grand prize, there’s enticing prize money at stake for teams securing victories during their Group Stage matches, with a substantial USD 40,000 reward for each win. As the Group Stage culminates, teams that do not advance to the knockout stage will still receive a commendable USD 100,000 consolation prize.

This distribution of prize money also establishes an important precedent for the forthcoming ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup in 2025. The ICC made a historic announcement during its Annual Conference in Durban, South Africa, in July 2023, declaring that both the men’s and women’s events will feature equal prize amounts, ensuring gender equality in cricket rewards.
